Fortunately we do not have many Airedales needing to be rescued but at times homes are needed for various reasons.

The Yorkshire & Eastern Counties AiredaleTerrier Clubs's Rescue Section was formed in 1992, with Sylvia Hicks at the helm. In 1997 Denise Brown & Jan Favell - Rapier took over. This year; 2010, Kevin & Wendy Windle have agreed to take on this very responsible post.

To date 150 Airedale's have been successfully re-homed. New owners have a total back-up service for help and advice.

A good relationship exists between this and other Airedale Rescue Sections around the country and they are able to assist each other with re-homing.

We always have a list of people waiting to give an Airedale in need of re-homing a loving and permanent home.
